Only about a square mile Indialantic is eclectic city with lots of history The official name is "Indialantic- By-The-Sea."

The name is a portmanteau derived from the town's location between the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Indialantic on the south and extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian River north to the Eau Gallie Causeway.
