Satellite Beach is a family paradise cradled between warm Atlantic beaches and the natural richness of the Indian River Lagoon. It is accessible by the Pineda Causeway and the Eau Gallie Causeway,

both of which come from the neighboring city of Melbourne.
The City’s mission statement is “To provide a variety of activities & services that encourage health, fitness, relaxation, education & enjoyment for our citizens and surrounding areas, while preserving the natural beauty of our

beachside community”.

The City of Satellite Beach maintains an active list of 80 volunteers ("Neighbor Helping Neighbor" program) who helps out where requested, often senior citizens, whose mobility is impaired.
